TCDL 2010 workshops explore metadata, ETDs, and born-digital materials

From the TDL Blog:

The 2010 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries has an exciting program of speakers, presentations, and workshops planned for Texas Digital Library members and other attendees. The conference will be held May 17-18 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin.

The TDL encourages attendees to stay through Tuesday afternoon to participate in the Special Workshops and Forums led by TDL members from institutions across the state. In these afternoon sessions, attendees will haveĀ  opportunities for learning, discussing, and sharing around issues like ETDs, metadata, and born-digital publications. (Registration for TCDL 2010 covers the workshop sessions.)

TCDL 2010 Special Forums and Workshops include the ETD forum, Collaborating to develop a digital solution to a digital acquisitions problem, TDL Metadata Working Group, and Hot topics in metadata. To see the full conference lineup, visit the TCDL 2010 website or download a PDF version of the full conference program that includes venue maps and information about Austin dining, transportation, and other activities.

And don’t forget to join us for the Vireo Users Group Meeting, a post-conference event on the morning of May 19. Attendees should RSVP for the event by contacting info@tdl.org.
